Sea Breeze Resort

We got in touch with Sea Breeze Resort several days ahead to book lunch for 4 PM, hoping things would go smoothly. Instead, it was a huge letdown. When we arrived, nobody gave us clear directions. We kept asking for help but were sent from one person to another without getting answers. Communication was chaotic, and it seemed nobody knew what was happening. After all that, they told us there were no buggies available to take us, and then said the venue was closed. We hadn't been notified in advance. There were no alternatives offered, just a vague mention of “Nikki Beach” and no directions or help. I've traveled a lot and never had service this poor. We lost the whole day, left without a meal, and are still at a loss for words. This wasn't what we expected from a resort of this caliber. Extremely disappointing.

The best time to come is before September ends. We visited on September 22 and found Sea Breeze already closed, with hardly anyone around, chilly weather, and sea water too cold to swim. During summer, though, it has a clean, well-kept beach that felt much fresher than the dark, unpleasant-smelling beach near my hotel, Marriott Boulevard Hotel. You can swim or sunbathe, or just relax by the water. There are also bars, clubs, parties, and places to eat, including Gloria Jeans, KFC, and McDonald’s, so it has plenty going on. Sea Breeze is one of Baku’s best summer spots if you want a beach day with nightlife too.

It's brand new, and I really enjoyed staying here. Hoping to come back next year.

The manager was really friendly and helped with everything we needed. It's a luxurious, comfortable place, and the holiday here felt quiet and relaxing.
