Zimmer Boutique Hotel

The rooms had everything I needed and were clean and well maintained. Staff were extremely courteous and helpful, making the whole stay smooth and comfortable. I had a wonderful visit, would happily recommend the hotel, and look forward to coming back.

The location is great, but everything else was bad. Walking in, I could smell cat pee everywhere. Avoid room 5: there were fleas in the bed, and rain dripped through the ceiling.

I had an enjoyable stay at this cozy hotel in Baku city center. It was clean and warm, and the staff were eager to help with luggage and share information. They speak good English too.

I stayed for two nights as a female solo traveller, and this was a great location if all you need is a modest bed after exploring the old city. The single rooms have a porch or balcony. Don't haul your luggage upstairs like I did, the kind young men at reception will offer to carry it. One thing to plan for: taxis don't enter the old city on weekends, so they'll drop you outside. Rolling luggage over the cobbled streets from there isn't ideal.
