Having a parking area of its own was handy, and the hotel is easy to find right on the main road. It’s also close to Nohur Lake and plenty of restaurants, with the Gabala cable car resort about 20 minutes away. The staff were helpful, though I couldn’t reach anyone at reception during the power cut, and got no WhatsApp reply until morning. Then they said the whole street had lost power and they’d turn on the generator. I’d booked a room with a balcony, but was first given one overlooking the pool and garden. I asked to switch because I like balconies, and the replacement faced the street, which looked nice in the snow. The room was large, with a double bed and a single. The mattress wasn’t very comfortable, but it was okay. Breakfast was simple and good, brought to the room rather than served as a buffet. The electricity stayed off all night until morning, and the water was cut too. For the reasonable price, I’d call this budget accommodation.

The rooms are very good, though the bathrooms could use a bit more maintenance. We also heard some guests in nearby rooms being loud late at night. The hotel and restaurant are lovely properties, and all the staff were excellent. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

The hotel is right on the main road, and breakfast was okay. We’d booked a triple room but got upgraded to a villa at no extra charge. It was cold, so they brought extra heaters for every room. The staff were helpful, and room service ran until 11pm.

Not worth what they charge. I was there for two nights, and there was a power outage as well as a water shortage. Breakfast was a long way across from the hotel. The rooms are up a flight of stairs, which isn’t suitable for elderly guests or big families. There was hardly any staff, just one man helping with luggage. Booking.com shouldn’t give places like this a 4-star rating.
