The hotel arranged a driver for us, and he threatened to leave us in a remote village unless we paid double what we’d agreed at the hotel. The receptionists didn’t step in or take responsibility afterward. It spoiled our stay and, even worse, left us with less trust in the locals.

The pool costs extra at 15 manat an hour, and there’s no discount for children. As for the room, the AC, TV, internet, refrigerator, and even the toilet flush weren’t working. I wouldn’t recommend it.

There’s no elevator, but the place was clean and the staff were cooperative. For a three-star hotel, it’s very good.
