After a lovely hike through the beautiful valley from Shahdag ski resort to Kuzun and then Laza, my wife and I were tired and asked the guest house about a ride back to our ski resort hotel. Ramid was incredibly helpful. He helped clean our muddy boots and drove us back, and we're very grateful. If we'd known Ramid's guest house was there, we might have booked it for our ski trip. It looks warm and welcoming 😊

After a long day hiking, I had everything I needed in the large cottage: a comfortable bed, private bathroom with a hot shower, and a heater. The food was great, and the whole family was super accommodating.

The scenery in Laza is beautiful, and the place is right in the village, where fewer than 100 people live and you can see only 10-15 houses. It was very cheap and is very close to the Shahdag ski resort. The support guy was really friendly and cooked us delicious food, especially fresh meals. I'd give the location 10 stars if Google allowed it, but it only lets you give five.

If you're going to Laza, I recommend staying at this house. Be sure to ask for Lezgin pizza, a Lezgin specialty, and ask for Movlud, the owner's brother and a local guide. We went on several hikes with him, and he's the man. Enjoy discovering this special place!

A wonderful, peaceful place. We spent half a day there and had an amazing time. I'd recommend walking around and chatting with people about their daily lives.
