Ilgar and his wife are such warm, sincere people. I arrived unsure what to expect, but when the owner came by that evening, I knew I'd made one of the best choices of my trip. The location is peaceful and convenient, close to everything. The hospitality was on another level. If you're visiting Sheki, Ilgar’s Guesthouse is the right choice.

Ilgar was kind enough to let me in at 6 am. He's a gracious, accommodating host. Thanks so much, definitely recommend!

Ilgar looked after us wonderfully and made our stay a great one. His place is close to the main tourist sites of Sekhi. We had a lovely time there and hope to visit him again soon.

Ilgar made our stay in Sheki amazing. He helped us arrange the trip from Tbilisi and personally showed us around town. He also took us on a hike to an abandoned fortress in the forest, a place we wouldn't have discovered on our own.

A cozy, homely place with a secure gate. The host was welcoming, helpful, and spoke English well. Try to get back by 7, since the road isn't lit all the way and the dogs barking don't make the walk any easier. I'd come back.
