Talija Hotel

For a short stay, I can recommend it. The price for the service is very good, and there’s a parking lot as well as a garage. Several small shops and a few things to see are nearby. The hotel was nicely maintained and clean overall.

We won’t be coming back. It’s overpriced and really not worth it, and I don’t think it should be listed as a five-star hotel. There was no service or maid during our stay. The room was set up for one person even though we booked for a couple, and there were no slippers or bathrobes. The hairdryer and telephone didn’t work, and we didn’t see a maid until we were nearly checking out. The pool wasn’t heated and only ran during the day, while the jacuzzi wasn’t working at all.

The rooms and facilities are very good for the hotel’s category. The breakfast feels more like a three-star offering. There’s no safe in the rooms, no trash cans, and no basic vanity kit.

The sauna and gym were good, and the staff were pleasant and helpful. Rooms are okay and breakfast is standard, but the place as a whole feels like three stars. The hairdryer runs for about 30 seconds, then shuts off for five minutes. For a five-star hotel, someone seems to be taking the electricity bill too seriously. The pool has so much chlorine that it makes me think the water is rarely changed.
