It was clean and quiet, but I left with mixed feelings. The place wasn’t very social when I visited, and it’s kind of expensive for what you get compared with other hostels nearby. The grandma may seem mean at first, though I think she’s genuinely nice. The language barrier can make things tricky.

The family running this hostel made the trip for me. They checked that I was comfortable and having a good time in Mostar, and looked after me with real care. Such a lovely, affordable place. I’d absolutely recommend it.

I had a great time here and would stay again if I’m back in Mostar. It’s a sociable hostel, about 400m from the old town, and they run a really good tour. Sonya and her family were attentive, shared plenty of helpful advice, and made the place feel comfortable and family-run. 5/5 🩵🙏🏽

The setup is small, with one dorm, a few private rooms, a compact kitchen and a few bathrooms, but it felt like home. Sonja and Baba were funny, sweet, welcoming and always helpful. A must-stay in Mostar!
