Hotel Vidikovac

The setting alone is something special, perched on a cliff above Zvornik Lake with an unreal view across the water and the surrounding area. The staff were so kind and quick, and the food was delicious with generous portions and very reasonable prices. I loved the thick, strong homemade Turkish coffee, served with a cube of rahat lokum, and the dessert is made in the restaurant’s own kitchen. Vidikovac Restaurant treats all your senses, and every cent felt worth it. One of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to!

The terrace looks out over the Drina river, and the interior is beautiful. It’s a very big, modern place. The food was tasty, especially the Teleca corba. All recommendations.

We were told on the phone that the restaurant was wheelchair accessible, after my uncle called ahead to check. When we arrived, though, I had to be rolled up a steep, slippery hill, which felt very dangerous. Then I couldn’t get any farther than the entrance hall. Such a waste of time and effort.

We had lunch on the terrace, which I’d recommend for the fantastic view over Drina River. The menu is wide but well put together, and the portions are big. Everything was freshly cooked and delicious, the staff were friendly, and service was fast. Prices are reasonable too. It turned into a much nicer experience than I expected.
