Apartments and Rooms Planinska Idila

We were four adults and three children in an attic apartment, and the 50l water heater didn't work. We could barely manage a bath with lukewarm water. The rooms were dirty and untidy, and the roof leaked. The owner charged for everything and seemed to watch every dinar. On top of the water heater problem, he charged us for an hour's use of a sled for the children. I don't recommend it.

The price was extremely high for such a disastrous room. Hygiene was poor, with dead flies and insects under the bed. The radiator didn't work, the shower leaked and flooded the bathroom, and the windows wouldn't seal. Wind blew through at night and onto the bed. The WiFi was down most days, and we got no confirmation or invoice for the nights and taxes we paid. The owner ignored our comments and complaints. We asked to move to another room and were willing to pay extra, but got no response, even though the apartment next door was vacant all week. We spent Christmas and New Year in a room where the wind made us catch cold overnight. This was the worst accommodation we've ever had, anywhere. Absolutely not recommended.

Dragiša, the owner, was incredibly friendly and hospitable. Our large attic apartment was clean, and the pub downstairs served drinks any time. Food was available there only if arranged in advance. The ski-in, ski-out access is literal: you can ski straight from the villa without walking. Jahorina's resort is excellent, with modern facilities, good food and welcoming people. There were lots of Slovenians on holiday at the time, and only the occasional German-speaking tourist. We had a great stay and will be back 👍⛷️

The apartments were warm and everything was okay. The owner was friendly, and our only complaint is that the larger units should have more dishes. I'd read the reviews and brought my own, expecting things to be much worse than they actually were. I'd recommend it.
