Chalet Petit Palais

Everyone was so friendly, and the slopes are really close. We stayed in both an apartment and a regular room, and both were exceptional. Honestly, I couldn't have asked for nicer accommodation. Five stars, no doubt!

The food was delicious, and the people were very friendly. The piste is just a five to ten minute walk away. The one downside was having no free parking.

Jahorina itself was enjoyable, with nice cable cars and good lift infrastructure, and the hotel is well positioned near the slopes. But we had a disappointing stay at Chalet Petit Palais, and wouldn't recommend it. The room was cramped, with a tiny cooler and barely enough space to move around. Breakfast was poor and didn't match the description. Basic items were missing: sometimes there was only batter fried in deep oil instead of bread, there was no honey for tea, no butter, and the tea choices were just green and black, unsuitable for children. We bought some breakfast items at the nearby supermarket. Seating was a matter of luck in the restaurant, which had only a few tables. Cigarette smoke from neighboring tables was awful in the morning, and the poor ventilation made us feel sick. The hot water boiler couldn't keep up with our family, so showers had to be quick and washing hair was nearly impossible. We waited hours for it to heat again. Wooden boxes covered the wall heaters, so drying clothes and ski shoes before the next day was very difficult. On several nights there were parties in the restaurant below us, with noise lasting past midnight and making it hard to rest after skiing. We paid too much for this, especially when there are many nicer places with much better service for half the price.

It's in a great spot, close to everything, and a great place to stay. Highly recommended.
