6/10
Hotel Lavina is in a good location, and the rooms and spa & wellness area are decent. Still, the overall experience fell short of what I expect from a 4-star hotel. Basic room items like a kettle, coffee, or tea were missing, even though those are standard in lower-category hotels. There was no laundry service or even a laundry bag. The half-board restaurant was the biggest letdown. Breakfast and dinner both had a very limited selection, and the quality was low. At dinner you couldn’t order any drinks, whether soft drinks, beer, or wine, which is quite unusual. Breakfast coffee was basic too, with no coffee machine. The à la carte restaurant was very good, though everything was charged separately offcourse. In the evening it became a very loud club, with music going until 1 a.m., so it was hard to get proper rest. Children were also allowed in the sauna every evening, which doesn’t fit standard wellness rules. I’ve never experienced that in approx 100+ hotels I’ve stayed in over the years. With some improvements the hotel could be much better, but as it is, it doesn’t meet the level I expect from a 4-star property.

The food was fantastic, and the staff and everyone else were very good. The pool and the other places around the hotel were beautiful. A very good place to visit.

I always enjoy coming back. The hotel feels warm and cozy, with a relaxing spa center, and it’s close to the ski slopes. Hygiene is at a high level, the cuisine is excellent, and the hosts are friendly.

It’s in a very convenient spot and felt safe and clean. The staff were welcoming and helpful, and even arranged our airport transfer. They also suggested good nearby restaurants and places to hang out. The live music was fun, and the hotel restaurant is nice and cozy. 5 stars.

10/10
The food was varied and delicious, and the staff were friendly. There was a small mix-up when we arrived because the hotel hadn’t left us the rooms we reserved, but they found a solution that may have been even better than the original. The hotel is in an excellent location, right on the slopes. One suggestion: take a little more care with hygiene at the pool. Everything else: 10/10.
