The kind woman at the counter was lovely, and the service, rooms, and breakfast were all great. Everyone was hospitable and sweet. There's no elevator, but that was okay.

I can only speak for the restaurant, since I didn't stay at the hotel. We ordered soup and breaded chicken breast for our mains, and everything tasted great. Our waiter was polite and professional. The portions were so large that after the soup we only managed a mouthful of the mains, and gave the rest to a homeless dog outside. I'm sure he thought it was delicious. My one complaint is that the spacious restaurant has no non-smoking area. Even though we chose a table as far from other guests as we could, we sat in a cloud of cigarette smoke.

The location is great, and lunch and dinner were alright. The hotel itself wasn't clean and had a bad smell. Management could do better with staffing, since there are only two cleaning staff members. Breakfast choices were minimal, mostly leftovers from lunch and dinner.

I'm reviewing the property, not the staff. The staff weren't a reflection of how horrible the hotel itself was. Cigarette smoke filled the property and reached the rooms, and our room had a strong toilet smell. The AC barely worked. We stayed only because the hotel advertised working AC. Most hotels in this area don't have AC because the outside temperature drops at night.
