Hotel Bacchus

The staff were pleasant and the room was nice. It's a little far from the city, and you can hear some road noise. For the price, it was okay.

A clean, spacious room and really welcoming hospitality.

After a week of calls and emails going in circles, we ended up with no accommodation. When someone finally picked up, they yelled that they didn't have time. I asked them to reply by email, and was told, "I won't write to you now, someone else will answer you when she comes on shift." I called again, got a different person, and heard the same thing: "I won't process it now, a colleague will send an email in the morning." It just kept going like that until we were left without a place to stay. Such a shame. The rudeness and lack of professionalism were awful. I really don't recommend it.

There was no kettle, tea, or coffee in the room, and breakfast meant travelling about 3 km to another location. It didn't start until 8 am, which isn't convenient if you get going early, and the breakfast staff weren't especially friendly. On the positive side, our room was clean and spacious, and the receptionist was friendly and professional. The stay still fell below expectations overall, with plenty of room for improvement.
