Casa Verde is just a seven minute walk from the church, and staying there made our wonderful time in Medjigorje even better. Ivanna and her family made us feel at home, with such a warm welcome and great hospitality. The place was spotless, and I can’t find enough words to recommend Casa Verde or thank them for everything. The rooms aren’t large, but each has its own bathroom and was very clean. Breakfast was very good, with local produce among other things, and the host even suggested we make sandwiches for the long journey home. She was a warm, wonderful lady who helped us with everything we needed.

Our host Ivana looked after us so well, as always. Casa Verde is an easy walk to the center and church, and the rooms are spacious and spotless. Breakfast each morning was lovely.

We stayed here in May 2019 and would recommend it. The guest house was very clean and well located, and Ivana was extremely helpful and hospitable. She made us feel welcome and served fresh, tasty breakfast each day, with options for guests who need gluten-free or dairy-free food.

The family are so lovely, devoted, and full of love for everyone. I had to change my check-in date and later wanted to extend my stay. They made it easy, then welcomed me with coffee and pancakes. The place is cute, quiet, and full of useful little details, just a five-minute walk from the church. I live in a hotel in Dubai, and this level of service goes beyond every standard I know. I’m amazed by how much care they put into everything. And do try their breakfast: there’s something different every day, and it’s all made with love. Ms. Ivana gets up at 4am to prepare wonderful food for her guests. She’s a lovely host, cook, mother, wife, and friend. I’ve been coming to Međugorje all my life, and next time I’ll definitely call this beautiful family.
