Business Hotel Prijedor

The receptionist was really helpful, the best thing about the hotel, and the room heating was fine. I don’t understand why everyone seems to know this place or why it’s supposed to be one of the city’s famous hotels. The restaurant closed at 10 pm, though the bar was open. I ate at another hotel 50 metres away, and when I got back at 11, the bar had closed too. I had to insist before they’d sell me a cola.

The corridors are dark and really creepy, and the hotel seems unfinished, with installations sticking out of the ceiling. Only two floors look normal. Rooms are hot, especially on the highest floors, and the air conditioning doesn’t work; a strange smell comes out of it. The rooms aren’t clean, and there are insects everywhere. The website shows one elevator, but the other has all its buttons labelled incorrectly and jerks around a lot. The food isn’t enough for a three-star hotel. This is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in.

The reception staff and waiters were great, and the Wi-Fi worked well. My renovated room was clean, with comfortable beds and a TV with plenty of channels. It was dark, though, and there wasn’t enough light in either the room or bathroom. In the morning, when I left the room, I could smell food even though I was on the hotel’s third floor.

Renovated rooms are decent, if you’re lucky enough to get warm water in the shower. We were served cold fries, undercooked potatoes and stale cheese, which isn’t food I’d call acceptable. Service was mediocre, and there was a wedding that weekend, so it was too noisy. You might also find yourself sharing the place with mice and other rodents. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.
