Casper B&B luxury apartments

The rooms were okay, though below a good standard, and the large lounge had a TV that didn't work. There was no sign of the host, just keys left in a locker. The window looked out onto a graveyard, which could put anyone off. I wouldn't recommend it.

The owners were unpleasant, and the apartment wasn't especially clean and smelled of cigarettes. My friend forgot some personal things, and they wouldn't give them back, so basically, thieves. PS: The entire apartment for 4-5 people had just two glasses.

The apartment is spacious, the TV works, there's a washer, and downtown is about a 30-minute walk away. Free street parking is available too, though that isn't clear in the listing. But “luxury” is a stretch: it felt like sleeping in a thrift shop, with poor equipment, bad management, and unclean surroundings. The pictures didn't match what we found, and the listing said no smoking even though smoking is allowed. There was even an ashtray with lighters. The nearby cemetery didn't bother us, but some guests may want to know about it. The basics weren't there, especially decent bedding. We arrived without check-in instructions and had to ask for them on the day. In winter, the bedding was made up of ragged single duvet covers with nothing inside. The kitchen had no utensils, strainer, or coffee maker; there was only some awful pre-sweetened instant coffee. The fridge was so grotty I had to clean it before using it. No laundry detergent, shampoo, or dishwasher tabs were provided. One supposed double bed was a folded-out sofa, another suite had a single bed instead of a double, and there were no king beds despite the listing. These problems have come up in earlier reviews, so the owners seem indifferent. I'm sure most guests don't make this mistake twice, but try not to make it even once.
