FG 1861 Hostel

I stayed at FG Boutique Hostel recently, and during my second stay I felt unsafe and told the owners. I left suddenly because of it. My laptop and some other belongings are still there, along with 45 euros (90 BAM) I left at reception for the three nights I didn’t sleep at the hostel. Given my current situation, I can’t come alone, but I can come with a friend from the refugee camp to collect the money and my belongings in person. The price is low and the location is good, but there was hair all over the sheets, which clearly hadn’t been cleaned. The top bunk had no plug or place to set anything, and I spotted a cockroach on the floor as I was leaving.

It’s an inexpensive, pleasant hostel, and I liked the location and price. The kitchen had everything I needed. I’d stay here again if I’m ever in Sarajevo. 🤝

The location is brilliant for the price, with a supermarket and bakery just a two-minute walk away. WiFi was excellent, and there was a plug by the bed. I stayed three nights while visiting Sarajevo and contacted the owner directly because I didn’t want to use booking. com. He replied promptly, was helpful, and assured me I could have a female-only room. Google Maps took me there easily when I used the restaurant below as the destination. It’s a hostel, not a hotel, and the price reflects that. There’s only one shower room, which could be an issue, though it didn’t affect me since I was up early. The storage isn’t lockable.
