The view from our room across the river and bridges to the emperor’s mosque was incredible. We stayed for about a week, and the location made it easy to walk to the mosque, the old town and tour guide companies. Breakfast was extensive and complimentary, with halal options too.

Room 402 was a bit dated, but otherwise excellent, and the balcony was phenomenal. You can't beat the location. The towels felt quite scratchy and a bit cheap, though breakfast, service and everything else at the hotel were excellent.

The rooms are large and the breakfast buffet is good. It’s in a superb spot near the old city centre. I found the bed extremely hard and very uncomfortable, even after they added a “topper”. It felt more like a thin cover than a soft Scandinavian style topper.

Breakfast had a wide spread, and the location and service were fantastic. But the rooms are very dark, with nowhere near enough light to feel welcoming. They face a busy street, and the flimsy sheer curtains and solid curtains that don't close all the way mean the sun can wake you, or people can see inside. I really wouldn't recommend staying here. The Marriott or somewhere else would be better.

I loved the room's view over the Sarajevo River, with a picturesque mosque just across the bridge. It was such a peaceful sight to wake up to. The location was unbeatable, just a minute from the old market, so exploring and shopping were easy. I could drop off my purchases at the hotel and head straight back out. Breakfast had a good range, and the friendly, helpful staff knew a lot and made the stay even better. I had a wonderful time at Hotel President and highly recommend it for a visit to Sarajevo.
