Parking was easy, and our host even moved his own car so we could park in the carport. He was welcoming and responsive throughout. Villa Borak sits on a quiet hill, giving us a peaceful stay while still being fairly close to Sarajevo's city centre. Walking is manageable, but a car or taxi helps. The simple room had what we needed: a private kitchen, bathroom, comfortable bed and reliable internet. It's a good choice for a quiet, no-fuss night in a residential area. The room is up a few stairs, which could be an issue for guests with mobility concerns. The toilet seat was broken during our stay, though it wasn't a major problem and should be fixed. They don't accept card payments, so bring cash. Despite those small issues, we had a very good stay and the hospitality stood out.

The host was incredibly thoughtful and kind, and everything's within walking distance. We had a big balcony, free parking, Wi-Fi and air conditioning. It's right in the city center, yet surrounded by nature. Highly recommended!

Our room was really warm at the beginning of March, and the heating worked perfectly. The owner was friendly, and the location was ideal, with private parking in the apartments' yard. It's about a 15-minute walk to the city centre, 10 minutes to two big malls and 5 minutes to the Russian embassy.

It looks like the place has all the basics, but they're not really usable. The hot water was fine everywhere except the shower. The kitchen chandelier had no bulbs, and the TV remote's batteries were dead. There were slippers, but just one pair and one extra slipper. Kitchen utensils were provided, but the knives were too dull to cut anything.
