The owner's response when I raised my concern about the 5:00 p.m. check-in was defensive and unprofessional, with little understanding or effort to help. I was surprised, as I'd never encountered accommodation where check-in started that late. He said they were the “cheapest,” as if that excused the hours and poor service, though that claim isn't even accurate. I've stayed in better places for less, with welcoming hosts and excellent communication. A host's manner matters just as much as the facilities, and the dismissive tone and lack of flexibility left me with a very negative impression.

The private garage was a huge bonus, and we could walk to the old town. The host was friendly and happy to help with anything. Affordable accommodation in Sarajevo, and a lovely stay with everything we needed.

A few minutes down the road gets you to Sarajevo's centre and bazaar. The hosts were fantastic and easy to arrange things with, and the prices were affordable. It was clean and spacious, with a garage for cars and motorbikes. Highly recommended.

The owner's garage has parking, though the streets are narrow. The cable car to the viewpoint is very close, and after a few minutes' walk you're in the centre near Sarajevo's main sights.
