You’re within minutes of lots of restaurants, shops, and other options, so the location is about as good as it gets for exploring on foot. The rooms were very nice, and the staff were friendly and helpful. It was also quite quiet despite being in a busy area. Breakfast was very good too.

We especially appreciated the little kindnesses: one staff member brought us iced water on a hot day, and the reception team helped us find a local shop for SIM cards. They also gave us maps, directions, and tips for nearby sights, and the housekeeping team was cheerful and clearly took pride in their work. Our room was comfortable, a good size, clean, modern, and well maintained. Hotel Old Sarajevo is in a great spot in the pedestrian zone, with restaurants, shops, and the main attractions all within walking distance. The hotel arranged airport pickup with Omo, a fantastic, safe driver who spoke perfect English and put us at ease straight away. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely return!

The rooms and location are good, and the hotel itself is really good. What stood out most was how nice the owner and staff were. Mr. Niyaz handled everything connected with our Sarajevo trip, even when the police towed our car.

Ahmad, Edena, and Amelia were so friendly and lovely, and went out of their way to help. The hotel has a charming boutique feel, with bright, modern rooms that were very clean and comfortable. I loved the rain shower in the bathroom. It’s right in the heart of the old city, a stone’s throw from the city hall and fountain. Amazing value for money, and it exceeded my expectations. Can’t wait to go back :)

It’s a modern boutique three star hotel in a prime spot in the old town. The rooms are small, but clean, modern, and well looked after. They may feel a little pricey for a three star place, though the location and excellent service make that understandable.
