The location is the hostel's only real plus. I stayed for a week in a single room with a friend and used the shared bathroom. Hot water was available, and the bedding was clean, but the toilets often had no toilet paper and I don't think the men's toilets were cleaned properly. The overall hygiene was so poor that I hesitated to wash my face. The toilets, beds, rooms and general cleanliness were all well below par. I glanced at some other rooms, and they seemed set up similarly. Our room had no carpet, so you need to wear shoes inside. There was nowhere to store our things, just two hooks, a table and a chair. I also saw spiders and webs in the room and toilet area. This doesn't suit everyone, and it's certainly not fit for families with children or people with disabilities. If all you need is somewhere to sleep for a couple of days, it might be affordable for the price. For any extra comfort, I'd spend a little more elsewhere. Keep your expectations low beyond having a place to crash.

At least the bed linen was clean. Everything else was disappointing: the owner was unkind, the place too dark and dirty, and using the shared bathroom was terrible. The windows and doors didn't seal properly, the room heating was poor, and we had to ask for towels. The door handle was practically falling off. They said private parking cost 10 euros a day, but in the end I was charged 53 KM or 27 € for a partial day!

Mirsad at reception was very helpful and organized my trip in Bosnia. The hosts were amazing, and the location is central and great. The room and bathroom were clean, and the price was good for the quality and location.

The staff were super friendly, and the room was spacious with a cool old-school vibe. It's very close to the old city center. In the evening, you can hear live music from the cool pub downstairs, and a cat even joins in with a little concert, following the singer. There was hot water in the bathroom too. Highly recommended, great value for that price.
