The rooms were comfortable and nicely decorated, with everything a guest could need: a microwave, kettle, dishes, cutlery, coffee, creamers, tea, safe, toiletries, towels, and beach towels. After checkout, the luggage storage and showers with towels were really convenient. There are food trucks nearby with different choices, and whirlpools for guests. Direct access to Carlisle Beach is a big plus, since it’s one of the most beautiful beaches in Barbados. The area feels unsafe in the evening, though, and there aren’t grocery stores close by. Rooms vary in size and natural light even though they cost the same. I’d still stay here again.

The staff were great, and when we checked out Tuesday morning they offered to store our bags and let us shower before heading to the airport. Our room was small, but clean and perfectly sufficient. The only real downside was Friday night noise that carried on into the early hours. There’s a lot right here: a taxi stand, food trucks, a restaurant we really enjoyed, and Savvy bar. We also walked to the reputable West Side dive shop. Eden usually accepted cards, but cash seemed to be king in Barbados. The nearest ATM is at a gas station about a 10-15 minute walk away. It’s a great area.

The people were friendly and really helpful, and the cat kept us company while we ate. The water and beach were great too, and the rooms had really good pillows! 😃😀 Barbados could use a Dunkin Donuts, though. 😢

We gave this restaurant a try on a whim and were glad we did. The portions were a good size, and everything tasted great, from my steak platter to the Mahi Mahi catch of the day my girlfriend ordered. The drinks were cold, too. The lady serving us was helpful, and the service was good. Don’t skip the Jamaican Beef Patty, you won’t be disappointed.
