We had such a lovely honeymoon here. We booked the honeymoon suite, and it was absolutely worth it. The hotel is astonishingly beautiful, the food was amazing, and the manager was warm and welcoming. You can tell he loves his job. There are so many cats around to spend time with too. I can't imagine having stayed anywhere else.

We had a wonderful ten days here as a family. The staff were all so welcoming and made our stay even better. We ate at the hotel a few times and loved the food every time, and the swim-up bar had a great choice of drinks with friendly bartenders. The hotel is right on the beach, and St Lawrence Gap is an easy walk across the sand. There are plenty of other beaches a short taxi ride away, since this beach is often yellow-flagged. It was my first visit to Barbados and I had a great time. I'd recommend the hotel and would come back.

The rooms are lovely, with big bathrooms and rainfall showers. There are nice pools, including a swim-up bar, and a great beach right there. Staff also seem very friendly. The restaurant food is pretty good, but service is incredibly slow. The beachfront location is good, though two large Sandals resorts next door make the walk into town a bit awkward. Going around the resort takes about 20 minutes, while walking down the beach and cutting through the other hotel to the street takes about 10. It would be nice to have a shortcut through Sandals.

I came for a couple of days in October to celebrate my birthday, and it was a lovely stay. The beach was clean and the area felt calm. I really enjoyed the well-made drinks and delicious breakfast, and the staff were friendly and professional. They kindly upgraded my room, which was spacious and clean. The main door had trouble closing, but the staff were quick and attentive about fixing it.

The suite worked really well for a longer stay with our two-year-old, since it had its own kitchen and lounge. The room was spacious and cleaned daily. There are two lovely restaurants, Calabash for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and Deia for lunch and dinner. The hotel has a special tropical feel and is beautifully designed. Its location right on the beach is lovely, and the sand never felt too packed with people or sunbeds, so we could enjoy a long, quiet walk. The staff were friendly, helpful, and great with kids. We had an amazing stay and will definitely be back.
