St. Peter's Bay 211 2 Bedroom Apts

We’d been looking forward to our stay at Saint Peter’s Bay, but a few weeks before the trip my partner had an unexpected medical issue and was advised not to fly for several weeks. It was completely beyond our control. We contacted the hotel right away, explained the situation, and offered medical documentation. We weren’t asking for a refund without reason, only to move the stay to a later date once he was cleared to travel. The reservation cost more than $15,000, and the hotel refused any flexibility. Even with the context and an offer to provide proof of a genuine health issue, they said there would be no refund, credit, or date change. Their response made it seem like they couldn’t care less. We understand businesses have policies, but hospitality also takes empathy and discretion, especially when someone’s health is involved. Their refusal to show even minimal compassion in a real medical emergency was deeply disappointing. We’d hoped to enjoy Saint Peter’s Bay and come back another time. Instead, before the stay even began, we felt unsupported and disheartened. We hope management reconsiders how it handles situations like this, since flexibility in legitimate emergencies can build goodwill and long term loyalty.
