The location is good, but my room smelled unpleasant and had ugly water stains on the walls. No office staff were around during operating hours, and the owner was dismissive and confrontational.

We booked an apartment that was advertised with a living room, but were given a studio instead. We sought a partial refund through the booking service because the listing had misled us. The host refused and changed the listing, but luckily we had photos of the original ad and got a partial refund from the booking service, not from BLR. The apartment itself was in poor shape. It was small, with old, dirty, worn kitchen equipment, an uncomfortable bed and pillows, and a broken, dirty clothes cupboard. The towels and sheets varied in quality, with no consistency. If you’re visiting Barbados with family, I wouldn’t recommend staying here. There was a building site right next to the B&B, with all the noise that comes with it. The spot also floods easily when it rains. After a night of heavy rain, the two rooms facing the road seemed to have taken on water, and we had to walk about 100 yards through knee-deep water to get out of the flooded area. Drug users often spent time in the public area, and sometimes drug dealers offered us illegal narcotics, which made us very uneasy. One night, people partied in the public area until 1 A.M. while we had an early morning ahead. With no staff around, I went out to ask them to quiet down. They got aggressive and confrontational, so I let it go for our safety. Around the pools, the public area had old, moldy, dirty cushions that were always left out in the sun and had become discolored.

A complete mess. They’ve crammed about 8 apartments into a space that should only have 2, and the garbage just piles up out front without being picked up. This place should be condemned.

I ended up booking another hotel and didn’t stay here. I was left outside crying in the middle of the night, and the whole experience was extremely disappointing. I wouldn’t recommend this place. At check-in, staff took my card for payment but never gave me any keys. Communication was poor and unprofessional. The room they offered was tiny, poorly maintained, and right beside the loud pool area with no soundproofing. I felt unsafe and uncomfortable. The property was noisy and chaotic, with loud music, heavy smoking right outside the door, and inappropriate behavior just steps from the room. As a non-smoker, I found the smoke unbearable. The place felt dirty and unwelcoming, not at all like a safe or relaxing vacation setting. When I raised my concerns, they refused a refund and treated me disrespectfully. The manager was rude and dismissive, with no concern for guest comfort.
