The condo had stunning views, lots of space for four of us, a full-size stacked washer and dryer, and quiet, efficient mini-split AC units in every room. We also liked the vented front door that needed a key to open, and being close to the elevator was handy. We booked online based on the reviews, location, and price, and it turned out to be an excellent choice. Our concierge, sandy, met us there, showed us how to access everything, and walked us through the amenities. I liked that the complex is gated on both the beach and road sides. I wish it had felt a bit more like a VRBO, with everyday basics provided, such as cooking oil, games under the TV, travel-size shampoo and conditioner, and pool noodles or a float, especially with the beach and two pools. The refrigerator also didn’t cool as well as the ones in the United States. Maybe that’s just a barbado's thing, but it took almost forty eight hours for the milk, sodas, and beer to get cold. We’d definitely stay here again.

We had a great holiday and would definitely return. The apartment was lovely, with views of the beach. We found the pool rules confusing at first. Signs said not to reserve the loungers, but people were putting towels on them by 7.30 am. The beach situation wasn’t clear either, as apparently some sunbeds there had also been reserved. It didn’t ruin the trip, but it took us a while to figure out what the rules were.

I spent hours taking in the breathtaking scenery, and the property views really are stunning all around. The rooms were incredibly comfortable, and the pool area was an amazing place to relax. On one of Barbados’ best beaches, Dover Beach, this is a wonderful apartment building. The higher floors have great sea views, and the lively St Lawrence Gap puts you close to everything.

Air conditioning worked well, and the accommodation was nice and had everything we needed, aside from enough power outlets. Luckily, the bedside lamp had a double socket, so we could charge our devices without unplugging the lamp. I didn’t bother testing the TV because the view was too good to compete with. The location is fabulous, with the pool and beach right outside the back door.
