Hotel Plaza Bandarban

The beds and blankets were very clean, and I liked how quiet it was. The hotel is a bit outside the main city, so it works well for a stay of a couple of days. There’s no room service or food available, though, and the water heater didn’t work. The room walls are thin, so there isn’t much sound privacy. Still, it seemed like a nice place to stay.

The hotel is very old, and I didn’t find the beds comfortable. The toilets were clean, but not cozy. It does have hot water and a lift, which many hotels in Bandarban don’t have, plus free breakfast for guests.

We stayed in room 209, which had AC, a TV, hot water, and its own fridge. The AC units are old, though. There’s an intercom between rooms, and it’s a large hotel. The biggest plus is the 24-hour electricity. They have a large generator that covers the six-story building, so even when the city has frequent load shedding, the hotel has power. There’s also a restaurant, but you need to order a meal for them to prepare it. They don’t keep ready-made food.

The rooms were nice, and the toilet and bathroom were good. When I visited in September, the room rate was very cheap. The hotel has a restaurant inside, and the food was good and inexpensive. The environment was good too.
