Somudra Bari Resort

The rooms were clean and good, and the BBQ and boating area are the main attractions. The hotel is a bit far from the beach. Food prices are reasonable, but every time we ate, the food was cold. The bathroom taps and hand shower didn't work properly, and the service overall could be better. I expected more professionalism from the staff. There's plenty to improve, and I hope the service is better next time.

The staff's hospitality was the best part of this resort. The rooms were nicely decorated, and the washrooms were very clean. The balcony felt especially nice at night, and security was no problem. They also offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Clean and nice, though it's a little way from Kuakata Sea beach. The food was good and reasonably priced, and the boating area is the main draw. You can enjoy it with your family. Service was good too, and the staff were nice. It's an enjoyable place to stay.

The room smelled unpleasant the whole time, and the dining area was dirty and smelly too. The kitchen seemed unhygienic, and mosquitoes were everywhere with no net available, which made dengue feel like a real risk. The bed sheets had lots of dirty spots, and the blanket cover hadn't been changed after the previous guest. The commode wasn't fixed to the floor and tilted when leaned on. It was winter, but the geyser didn't work. Bathroom fittings were filthy, old, broken, and badly rusted. Even after we asked, they didn't provide bath soap, shampoo, or liquid hand wash, so we bought them outside. There was just one towel for four guests, and it was so poor it seemed fit for mopping the floor. We couldn't find a good hotel to stay in Kuakata, and I never wanted to stay somewhere like this.
