The location was convenient, and the costly iftar platter added to the stay. My room was comfortable and well maintained, and the service was friendly and attentive, which made me feel at home. I had a truly delightful visit to Hotel Grand Park Barisal.

The food and amenities impressed me, and the people were very well mannered in the way they served us. I didn’t expect to find a hotel like this in Barisal. Still, the price felt quite high for the brand and facilities.

On my latest visit, check-in went smoothly and I was kindly upgraded to a superior room. The complimentary breakfast menu had improved, which was welcome. I’ve visited Grand Park Hotel several times over the past couple of years, and it is currently the only four-star hotel in Barishal. Some parts of the guest experience still need attention. At the ground-floor lobby, staff repeatedly told guests not to sit comfortably on the sofas, which felt unnecessary and unprofessional for a premium property. The large bar-style gate at the entrance also gave the hotel a cantonment-like feel rather than a welcoming one. Reception told me outside visitors were not allowed to visit guests in their rooms, which surprised me for a hotel that calls itself a business hotel. Staff and management could use better hospitality training. There have been improvements in breakfast and check-in, but guest treatment still needs significant work.

We arrived at around 2:00 AM and still got freshly prepared food delivered to our room within 20 minutes of ordering. The meals were fresh and well prepared, and the taste, quality, and portions were worth the money. Staff were polite, helpful, quick with requests, and always greeted me with a smile. I was in Barisal on an official visit and found Hotel Grand Park clean, organized, and welcoming. My room was spacious, comfortable, well equipped, and kept spotless by housekeeping. I enjoyed the stay enough that I’m already planning to return with my family so they can experience the hospitality, relaxing atmosphere, and food too. A good choice for business or leisure.

We held our area meeting here with almost two hundred people attending. The venue was spacious, well managed, and had excellent facilities for a gathering that size. It’s one of the most luxurious hotels in Barishal.
