We found the staff welcoming and attentive, and the room was spacious, had modern amenities, and comfortably fit four people. The price was more affordable than many other hotels nearby, and the complimentary buffet breakfast was a nice extra. The vegetable soup was especially delicious, though they could offer more breakfast choices. The pool area was decent for relaxing. There's also a jacuzzi, but it's been out of service for a while due to technical issues, and fixing it would make the hotel more appealing. This hotel has hosted guests for many years and has a consistent reputation for good service. The stay was comfortable and good value, with room to improve breakfast variety and facility maintenance.

The staff were friendly and the room was good, so my two nights at Hotel Cox Today were decent. But the facilities and food didn't feel worthy of a five-star label. The overall standard seemed closer to three or low four stars. Breakfast was much more limited than at other four- and five-star hotels I've visited. There also wasn't a dedicated room spray or air-freshening system, so I had to call housekeeping whenever I needed an air freshener. I'd rate the stay about 3.5/5.

The rooms were tidy, and the toilet was clean and organized. The AC and geyser worked well, and the complimentary buffet breakfast was excellent. Lunch and dinner buffet were the problem: tasteless, cheap items, no meat option, and only one small serving of the main curry. That's unexpected from a hotel that claims to be five-star.

The poolside BBQ and breakfast buffet were especially memorable, and the food variety, presentation, and restaurant cleanliness were impressive. Staff were friendly and responsive, serving with warm smiles. The food's taste and quality truly impressed me, especially Chef Abdur Razzak's cooking. I've eaten all over the country, including at airport restaurants, and his dishes are on another level. You can taste his skill, care, and passion in every bite. He's also humble, polite, and hospitable, and talking with him was heartwarming. He's a real asset to the hotel. At first, things felt disorganized. The lobby was a bit chaotic, and a few restaurant tables hadn't been cleaned properly. Then Chef Abdur Razzak listened to my concerns and promptly told the service team to be more attentive and proactive. Service noticeably improved after that, making the rest of the experience much more pleasant. I admire how seriously he takes guest feedback and acts on it.

The room didn't feel worth its price. The welcome wasn't warm, and they didn't provide a welcome drink or Wi-Fi. There was no hand liquid in the washroom, the lighting was scarce, and the clothes all seemed very old. They should provide a Smart TV.
