Best Western Heritage

The pool and other amenities were quite good, and the view from the restaurant was stunning. The restaurant had HVAC problems and not enough fan support, though. Breakfast offered variety, but the quality was lacking and the items were repetitive on both mornings. We also got no welcome drinks, and check-in was delayed even though we arrived after 2 PM. The stay was pleasant overall, but had these flaws.

I'm here for 8 nights, and the staff have been friendly, polite, and responsive. The first-floor restaurant can accommodate non-Bangladeshi guests, including chill-free requests. Sathi deserves a special mention. She's very polite, pays attention to details and guests' preferences, anticipates their needs, and is always smiling.

Kolatoli is a very convenient area, and the location is a major plus. Kolatoli Beach is about a 7-minute walk away. Salik, Sayeman Heritage, and Ramada are within a 10-minute walk, and Palongkhi Restaurant is right opposite. We got an early check-in, which made arriving much easier. The room was clean, organized, and well maintained, and housekeeping kept it tidy throughout. Staff were polite, helpful, and ready to assist with a smile. Service was excellent and better than we expected. The washroom could be improved: there was no bathtub or mug (mogh), which may bother some guests, especially families or people with particular preferences. Adding those small amenities would make the stay more comfortable. With the clean rooms, service, and location, Best Western Heritage was good value for money. I'd consider staying again on my next Cox’s Bazar visit.

The buffet breakfast stood out, with fresh food and lots of options, and the dining room felt cozy and family-friendly. Our room was spacious, with a relaxing hill view from the balcony. The large window let you enjoy the morning view from bed. The room got a bit too dim at night, so better lighting would help. The washroom could have been cleaner, though it wasn't unhygienic. Staff were polite and welcoming. The pool and gym were decent, and I liked spending time on the terrace. I had a very good stay.
