The dated areas could use some work, but the hospitality and convenience make up for it. We had clean rooms, excellent service, and the beach was literally steps away at Laboni Point. The breakfast buffet was good, and evening live music was a great addition to the trip. Highly recommended for budget travelers!

Live music goes on every night until after 11 p.m., so forget getting to sleep early. Breakfast is Bangladeshi only. It's a well-run mid-range hotel, and manager Puchin helped me several times. The small gym is enough for a holiday workout. There's a 12m pool in the carpark, not a nice spot to relax, but fine for a swim. The beds are comfy, the bathrooms were recently refurbished, and there's only an overhead shower.

There's a nice live music restaurant with kebab, and the lighting and decor are lovely. The hotel also has a coffee shop with a very tasty selection, plus a restaurant with excellent food and very friendly staff. Food and coffee cost a little more than at similar restaurants. The hotel staff, though, are NOT friendly at all, which is really frustrating. The hotel is near Labony point sea beach, just a walk away, and close to the Airport.

Hotel Kollol has a peaceful, green feel, with lots of trees and open spaces that make it a refreshing break from the busy city. Its eco-friendly decoration and natural surroundings make the stay relaxing. The hotel is conveniently close to the beach, and the friendly staff and balanced facilities add to the experience. The clean, cozy rooms suit families, couples, or groups, and some have beautiful sea views where you can hear the waves and watch sunsets from the balcony. There's also a well-maintained, safe swimming pool for adults and children, whether you fancy a morning swim or an evening dip. As a 3-star hotel in Cox’s Bazar, it's a satisfying choice if you're after comfort, sea views, and an eco-friendly stay.
