My checkout turned into a stressful dispute that held me up for about 45 minutes to an hour, especially worrying with a flight to catch. The receptionist, Babul, tried to collect extra money, saying the hotel's rate was higher than what I'd paid through Expedia. My reservation was fully prepaid by credit card, and I showed a valid invoice, but he kept arguing for the difference. At one point I wasn't allowed to leave. Things changed only after I firmly said I'd call the police. A supervisor eventually stepped in and let me go without paying anything more. I'd stayed at this hotel before without trouble, and the other staff had been very polite and respectful. That's why I booked again, so this was a real disappointment. As a legal professional, I could stand my ground, but I'm concerned other guests might be pressured or misled into paying unjustified charges. I ask Expedia to investigate seriously and take steps to protect customers. The experience was frustrating and unprofessional, and I hope this doesn't happen to others.

The staff were well behaved, and the hotel was nice. It's a 3-star place, so expectations should stay modest. I only stayed for a few hours and didn't eat there, so I can't comment on the food.
