Coventina Lake Suites

The suites have a nice view, and there’s a gym and a small pool, though the water was a bit cold. Breakfast is included, and while there’s no restaurant, you can order a meal whenever you like. They also let us use the second floor as an office. One downside is the lack of mosquito nets on the windows, so fresh air comes with mosquitoes. For a longer stay, you can negotiate a much cheaper price.

The service was terrible. I paid through agoda for a double deluxe room that was supposed to include a balcony, but the hotel said agoda had made a mistake and that the booking they received didn’t include one. I’ve used agoda in many countries, and hotels have always honored what I booked. Here, the ads on agoda show all the rooms, but after payment they give you a different room and don’t refund you. I wouldn’t recommend booking without checking the room first.

The manager, Mr. Roy, was very pleasant and always available when I needed help, whether with an airport transfer or something else. The staff made the stay comfortable, and I enjoyed having a cappuccino on the quiet open terrace in the afternoon. There’s also a rooftop with a lovely city view, and I used some of the gym equipment now and then. My lake-view apartment was lovely, and the hotel felt relatively quiet compared with noisy Gulshan district. It was a great stay. Many thanks to everyone.

I had a wonderful stay at Coventina Lake Suites as a service apartment. The amenities were excellent, and the service made us feel very comfortable. Mr. Bashar, the senior manager, was consistently supportive and helpful throughout our time there.
