Kuakata Guest House

The garden is lovely, and the guest house is set back from the road, so it's quiet. Rooms are large and spotless, with comfortable beds and plenty of hot water. Manager Halal was especially welcoming and helpful. He arranged our bus tickets back to Barisal and walked us to the place where we could book an island trip. Restaurants and an ATM are nearby, and it's a short walk to the beach and bus station. We stayed three nights and wished we'd stayed longer.

The manager/host helped us plan tours in Kuakata and arrange our return travel to Barisal. We spent three nights at this charming guest house and really enjoyed its cozy feel and very helpful staff. Our room was large, clean, and comfortable. There's a big dining area, and the gardens are well kept. It's set away from the busy main road, which we appreciated.

A good option if you're trying to save money. The beach isn't far, and you can do your trips from here. You can also rent a hall for an event. There are more luxurious, smarter hotels and resorts around if you want to add some color to your tour.

It has an open feel, parking, and a nice community atmosphere, almost like a family place. One of the better hotels in this tourist area, about 5 1/2 minutes from the beach. The rooms are fairly good, and the bed is very comfortable.
