Milky Resort

The place is right in the middle of town, and the building and reception area looked promising. I only stayed one night. My room was fairly spacious, and the rooms on the 3rd floor seemed cleaner than those on the 2nd. Check that the AC works before settling in, especially if they put you on the 3rd floor. There was no service, and the washroom had no amenities apart from a towel. You get what you pay for, so it works for a night.

The staff were not professional at all, and the room setup made a winter night especially uncomfortable. My wife, child, and I were given one thin blanket for the three of us in a double room. When we asked, the staff brought two more blankets, but they were used ones. 🙁 The washroom was dirty, and its door was so transparent that people could easily see inside. The bathroom sandals were slippery, and the AC wasn't working properly. Worst hostel I've stayed in.

The staff were polite, though not professional. The AC had problems, and the tap water tasted salty. There was no dining or breakfast available either. It's an affordable enough place for a short stay, but I wouldn't choose it for a holiday or a longer work trip.

Milky resort is in a good spot at the main point of Teknaf. There aren't many resorts there, and only one or two are good quality. This one is average, but works for a medium budget. It still needs improvement in a lot of areas.
