Grand Vistana

I’d had a good stay here when it first opened, so I booked the same executive room again through Booking.com in January 2026 for one night, after staying with my family for two nights in October 2023. I paid 12,000 Taka and expected service and room conditions at least as good as before. This time was a huge letdown. The bathroom was mouldy, the furniture and bedcovers were filthy, the mattress was broken, and there were so many mosquitoes that the room didn’t feel safe to sleep in. I had to call staff at 1:00 a.m. to spray the room. The hotel smelled bad on arrival, and the entrance carpet and lift were dirty. The welcome felt uninviting, with no refreshing amenities. After a long flight, it was an unpleasant, uncomfortable experience, nothing like my first stay. The location had been very convenient before, close to the airport.

We only stayed a short time, but the staff were wonderful, helping with every request, especially around meals. The food was fresh, tasty, and satisfying. I’d happily come back for the service and dining.

Breakfast and the restaurant service were a pleasure, and the rooms were clean and well equipped. Mr. Rifat zakerin and his team were attentive and made sure things were right. The staff were very friendly and professional. A wonderful hotel near the airport.

We had a spacious room and the staff were sincere and cordial. The location is convenient for foreign travelers staying a night, and they kindly arranged the extra small bed I requested for my daughter when booking. Still, I won’t choose this hotel again. The room had sudden loud noises through the night, so my wife, our 4.5-year-old daughter, and I couldn’t sleep properly. The French fries we ordered for her were surprisingly poor. There was also a billing issue: I booked through Booking.com and paid 6,700 BDT at check-in, but the checkout invoice showed 6,084 BDT. That discrepancy left a bad impression.
