The location was good, though a little confusing, and the beach was nearby. The rooms were clean and well maintained, the food was good, and the couple were supportive. A nice place to stay.

It wasn’t a bad experience. Rates start at 5,000 tk, and the hotel offers business, premium, and regular services. There’s also a nicely decorated bar on the top floor, and the service was enjoyable.

Hotel Sweet Dream has 50 rooms, with living areas and sofas, plus individual climate control. Some rooms also have a kitchen with coffee and tea facilities, a fridge, and a kettle. The building has an Italian-style facade and sits beside Southeast University, with quick access to a railway station. The Currency Museum is within walking distance; the High Commission of Malaysia is 1.6 km away, and the Indian High Commission is 2.2 km away. Dhaka's centre is 10 km from the hotel. Guests can get a buffet breakfast each day, and there’s a 24-hour restaurant serving Indian food, along with a coffee bar. Boomers serves continental cuisine. The hotel also offers a nightclub and tennis courts.

The bathroom flooded, the AC didn’t work properly, and there were no bathroom supplies. They moved me to another room, but the AC wasn’t working in any room. Breakfast was repetitive, service was the worst, and the landline didn’t work. There was also a mini bar. I’ve stayed in hotels in several countries and never had an experience like this. Don’t stay here.

The washroom water wouldn’t drain properly. The room was very old, with mold all over and the wall board coming apart.
