Nascent Gardenia Residence

During a five-day business trip from India to Bangladesh, I stayed at Nascent Gardenia Residence (Nascent Gardenia Residence). What stood out most was how attentive the staff were. They helped with transport and local recommendations and made sure I was comfortable. The food was another highlight, especially breakfast, with a wide choice that mixed local flavors and international options. Every meal was fresh, tasty and thoughtfully presented. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and well kept, with modern amenities, high-speed Wi-Fi and a comfortable workspace that suited my work and downtime. The hotel was clean and details were well attended to. Staff welcomed me warmly and professionally, and check-in was quick and easy. It brought together comfort, convenience and hospitality, and I'd highly recommend it.

Good value for money, especially since decent hotels around Gulshan can get pricey. We stayed for a couple of nights in mid-February, my friend and I in separate rooms. We chose the place partly because several great eateries were nearby. One room felt a bit cramped, though that may not matter much for a single occupant. It doesn't look like a proper hotel, but for a short stay I didn't notice much difference. The rooms were clean and well-appointed, service was efficient, and the food, especially breakfast, was pretty decent. Everyone I spoke with, from reception and the guard to housekeeping and restaurant staff, was consistently polite and helpful. It helped that many could speak English or Hindi.

It didn't live up to expectations. Though rated four stars, I found it gloomy and a bit dated.

We stayed nearly a week in May and it was simply a great place. The location is very central, the rooms modern, and the food nice. Service was excellent, and the employees spoke very well. They also stored our luggage while we traveled around the country, which was no problem.
