Waterpolo- Travellers Rest House

Water Polo BD is a reliable, affordable place in Dhaka for a fun swim or a relaxed get-together with friends. The pool area has a great feel, and the facilities are generally well maintained. It’s popular, though, so weekends can get crowded. Service is decent, but the locker rooms could use more frequent upkeep during busy hours.

The ambience is nice, but service needs work. I’ve been twice and both times some menu items weren’t available.

The staff were nice and it’s a great place, but the water felt warm, probably because there were so many people. The changing room and washroom could also be a bit cleaner.

The changing room was only so-so, and the food, bhai, was -100/10. It wasn’t properly cooked. The pool was just as bad: it smelled awful, tasted like egg water, and had algae, leaves, and other stuff floating in it. I couldn’t swim in that water. Don’t be fooled by the looks of this place, it’s horrible. If you’re a Bashundhara bashi, I prefer Dhali more than this.
