It's in a prime part of Rangpur town. The food selection at the complimentary buffet breakfast could be improved, and the floor lobbies need better arrangements to keep them cooler during the day.

I had a satisfying meal, and the service was friendly and quick. The cozy atmosphere was nice too. I tried the fried rice, chicken fry, and chicken sizzling, and all three were flavorful and well prepared. The rice was cooked just right, the chicken fry was crisp outside with tender meat, and the sizzling chicken came hot with a great mix of spices. I'd like a little more variety on the menu, but I'd definitely come back.

Grand Palace Hotel & Resorts is centrally located in Rangpur, which made it a convenient base for exploring the city. My stay had some local charm, and the spacious, well-appointed room included a comfortable bed, tea and coffee sets, a safe, and a full-length mirror. The gym, beauty salon, and rooftop terrace gave guests ways to relax. Dining was a highlight for me. The Dhorla and Nirala restaurants had a pleasing range of food, from Thai to Mediterranean, and the fried rice and chicken sizzling stood out for their flavor. Staff were generally courteous and attentive, handled special requests with a smile, and made dining pleasant. There were a few shortcomings, though: some guests mentioned bathroom fixture problems and occasional dips in service quality. Despite those issues, I found the stay comfortable and enjoyable, with the hospitality and facilities outweighing the drawbacks.
