Lemon Garden Resort

It’s a large, very green place, family-friendly and good for photography. The pool is the largest I’ve ever seen and stays open until 11 pm, but dinner has to be finished by 10 pm. I think dinner hours should also run until 11. The bathrooms are large and really nice. Our TV was broken, but staff fixed it right away. The staff were friendly and the service was good. I didn’t experience any of the misbehavior mentioned in other reviews, and I had a nice time. There are bugs in the rooms, which is understandable with so many plants and trees around. If you have a child, avoid the back rooms or cottages in the garden, since they do have bugs. I asked staff to spray aerosol twice, and after that things were okay. The location is quite deep in the forest, which makes sense for an eco resort.

Security is good, but the prices are too high, including the food. The location is really difficult for a new traveller to find, and newcomers should be given more help. There’s nothing new for guests here, and they should add something.

I spent one night at the resort. It’s far from town, so it’s better to be back at the hotel by 8.30pm. The rooms were clean, though I ran into a few problems, and amenities cost extra for guests staying there. Breakfast was okay in the morning. Things need improvement across the board.

My wife and I arrived on 14.01.26 and checked out on 15.01.26 after booking through the Sharetrip app. For around 6,400 BDT for one night, the experience was extremely poor. The hotel has no intercom. Mobile numbers are written on the wall, and you have to call them for any service. There was little proper signage or direction inside, and staff seemed too few. In the morning we couldn’t even find the restaurant for breakfast. The room was in terrible condition. The door was broken, the mats by the bathroom and outside the room were filthy, and the blanket cover was torn and smelled bad. The room hadn’t been cleaned properly, the towels smelled awful, and the trash bin was heavily stained and extremely dirty. The buffet breakfast was very basic: a few parathas, pasta, noodles, some poorly arranged fried eggs, one vegetable dish and one chicken dish. Dessert was something like payesh. Drinks were limited to lemon water, regular tea made with tea bags, and coffee. The hotel is far away and can only be reached by a sub-road. That road is in very poor condition and runs about 1 to 1.5 kilometers. Travel is difficult unless you have the phone number of a local auto-rickshaw driver. I wouldn’t recommend this resort. People should spend their hard-earned money somewhere better.
