A lovely place to stay, tucked away in a quiet, secluded patch of woods. It’s very dog-friendly, and the whole place is fenced in. Some repairs are needed, though. Roots are pushing up the floor on the terrace and in the kitchen.

A wooded setting makes it very quiet, and it’s well placed for trips to Bruges or Ghent. The place is well equipped, with plenty of towels, though the appliances and dishes are clearly worn. It’s best to communicate with the owner in English. Phone reception is very weak, but the Wi-Fi makes up for it.

We stayed with our dog and had lots of room to go for walks. The house in the woods was beautiful, and everything we needed was there. The terrace and garden felt really cozy.

A very good price for a fantastic holiday home. It’s set right in the forest, with wonderfully quiet surroundings.
