Hotel Jan Brito

The free spa area was a lovely surprise, and we really enjoyed getting to use it once during our stay. The location was basically central and the staff helped when we needed them. The room was warm, the shower was good, and we liked the style. The TV didn’t work at first, though we were out all day, and there wasn’t much tea or coffee in the room. I’d definitely recommend the place.

Our room was on the top floor, number 36, facing the courtyard, so it was very quiet. It was also nice to have the other two rooms for our group next to us. The staff were helpful from check-in through to the host looking after us and the breakfast food. The hotel is a sympathetically restored period building in lovely surroundings, and it’s a 5-10 minute walk to The Markt via the fish market. Many thanks.

The room was spacious for a standard two-person booking, with two single beds, a big closet, desk, mini fridge, safe, and a sitting area with two chairs. The beds were comfy, and the high ceiling and authentic wooden beams looked great. We requested a bath in the booking comments and they remembered. The hotel was very clean, stylish, and centrally located, with a parking garage around the corner and street parking nearby. The staff were friendly. Thanks, Jan Brito, we’ll definitely stay again. We first booked through an external website, but they messed up the booking. I called the hotel directly and they made sure I got a refund. The first time I booked through their own Jan Brito website, everything went smoothly.

The bed was quite comfy, and I had the best shower I’ve ever had. It streamed like a mist and was really enjoyable. Breakfast was very nice, with freshly squeezed juice, good quality salmon, croissants, and more. The breakfast staff were very efficient and worked hard. For the price, the rooms need updating, especially the carpet and furniture. I booked directly with reception and got a better price than on Booking.com. The hotel also kept in perfect touch with me by WhatsApp.
