Condo Gardens Antwerpen

My boyfriend cancelled by accident after booking for more than a week. He asked whether he could get the room money back, but they said no. That's 700 gone. Why?

DON'T GO HERE. The smell was awful and there were insects. The staff said someone was cooking garlic, like that was a joke. The receptionist laughed off the smell as garlic and told us not to worry. Even the person at the desk said not to stay here. I was stressed and nervous. This photo is from today. PLEASE DON'T GO HERE.

The room had decent equipment, including a kitchen, ironing board, TV and hairdryer. It was spacious, the beds were okay, and the price was cheap enough for a spontaneous night in Antwerp. Beyond that, I wouldn't stay again. The place felt dirty and creepy, with an unclean-looking shower, a window that wouldn't open, and walls so thin we could hear normal conversations next door. The reception isn't available on weekends, and the hotel had a horror-like atmosphere. Don't use the lift: we got stuck for 30 minutes when it stopped halfway up. The emergency number the hotel gave us couldn't be reached, which is a very bad sign. Then the lift suddenly started moving again.

The neighborhood was quiet, so we slept peacefully, and the bed was okay. We stayed for a weekend wedding and found the place good for the price. It's well located near supermarkets, the central station and tourist spots. The staff member was very friendly, brought us some useful items and arranged an Uber to take us to the party and back to the condo. We'll gladly return to Antwerp.
