The staff were a bright spot at check-in. They let us leave our bags before the room was ready and made sure there was a pack and play for our daughter. I think the woman who checked us in was called Tina, and she was delightful. The value and location were good, but there were too many problems for me to stay again. There was a noticeable stale water smell when we entered the hotel, maybe a sewage issue, and it was noticeable in our bathroom too. The bathroom door didn't work, and there seemed to be mold on the ceiling and door frame. The room overall wasn't very clean, especially the floor around the dresser. The bed was clean, but one side of the mattress tilted and felt like we might roll off, perhaps because of bad springs. To top it off, staff gave another guest a key to our room, and they walked right in before realizing it had been double booked. That is a security concern that should never happen.

We stayed at this hotel for four days with the whole family, and the service was really bad. The air conditioning didn't work well, and our towels had holes in them. How could they allow that? The dark skinned woman at reception was very rude and not approachable for customer service. I'm calling on the manager and owner to make sure the rooms are fully cleaned and maintained properly. The receptionists also need training in how to deal with people.

The location is fantastic, and my fiancée and I had a pleasant few days in a room with a kitchen. We got a good deal, and if you find it cheap, I'd mostly recommend it. At its normal price, though, I don't think it's worth it for a place claiming to be “luxury.” There were too many issues. The shower swung between boiling and freezing, apparently regardless of the temperature setting. Some plates and glasses were dirty when we arrived, and one bathroom towel had a stain. The fridge was already small, and its side rack was broken and mostly unusable. The freezer was even tinier, barely enough for a tub of ice cream or a pizza. They supplied several types of pillows, but none were comfortable and they seemed more decorative than useful.

The room was spacious and had a kitchen, but there were hygiene problems: blood on the toilet walls, hair on the bedsheets, and mold. We raised it with the hotel, but they refused to refund us.
