It took about a month and a half to get a refund for my Sothys products, and the way I was handled throughout was really frustrating. I ordered on their website on Oct 27th. A few days later they said the items were out of stock but could be ordered from the distributor, so I agreed to wait. About a week later, instead of an update, I was told a refund had been issued. Nobody explained why I couldn't get the products or offered delivery later. When I emailed after another week to say the money hadn't arrived, they sent a screenshot and said the payment platform might need a few days. More than two weeks passed with no refund, and the emails went nowhere. I eventually went to the shop, but the man there didn't speak English and couldn't help, so I had to deal with someone on the phone. He repeated that I should wait, even though it had already been a week, and I asked him to check with the payment platform. I left my number. About ten days later, after I messaged again, they admitted the refund had not actually been processed. All along I'd been told to be patient and check with my bank, when they could have fixed it themselves. I'd bought from them several times, but apparently other things took priority. Around mid December they finally sent the money straight to my bank account. Then at the end of December, the same amount arrived a second time, apparently because the platform issue may have been fixed. I told the same person and asked where to return the extra. After that I got multiple messages asking when I'd send it and whether I could provide proof, as if I'd caused the mess. I'd been the one waiting patiently the whole time. What an annoying situation, and such inadequate handling. Great customer service!
