A bit hard to find, via a side door of a bar. You’re right in the centre with lots of bars so don’t expect an early night. It has an ancient elevator which is something to behold! The appartement was fine. Checking out is awkward as you have to drop the key at a nearby hotel (10 minutes walk) to get your €20 deposit back, but it took 10 minutes for someone to show up at 8am. Add 30 minutes to your leaving plans if you want that deposit back. If you leave very early or late, you might not get to see someone... so do ask about that!

This is NOT a hotel but a cheap apartment above a very busy loud hippy bar. Took an hour to find this place only to realize that you have to go somewhere else to check in and get the keys. Unless you plan on staying up all night long, do not stay at this place because NO WAY you will be able to fall asleep till 4-5 am because of all the noise and parties going on under you windows. And in addition, check your card as we got overcharged. Absolutely the worst experience we had in Belgium!!

Don’t ever fall into the trap of booking this place: it is directly above a night club restaurant which won’t close till 8am in the morning. How did they even get a license for a hotel room is beyond reasons: loud rock music all night long, patrons and Barmen drinking chatting smoking laughing all night long right under the windows, cooking smell from the restaurant. Impossible to sleep all night long . Walls and floor are paper thin, can hear people walking about and using the toilet.
